   Use our secure upload portal to send your files. Follow the prep checklist so every track starts at 0:00, is labeled clearly, and has headroom.

3. Step 3

   We mix your song

   Jason mixes your project in Art City Sound's tuned control room — the same room and ears behind our local studio work.

4. Step 4

   Review & revise

   Your first mix arrives within 5 business days. One revision round is included — send consolidated notes, not endless micro-tweaks.

5. Step 5

   Final delivery

   Approve your mix and receive high-resolution WAV files. Add-ons like instrumental versions or mastering can be arranged at delivery.

How to prepare your files

Good file prep saves time and gets you a better mix faster. Read this before you export.

• • Export every track from the same starting point (bar 1 / 0:00) so all stems align when imported.
• • Send individual tracks — not a single stereo bounce unless you booked a 2-track vocal mix.
• • Use clear file names: Kick.wav, Snare.wav, Lead_Vox.wav — not Audio_01.wav.
• • Leave headroom: no clipping on individual tracks; bypass master bus limiting on exports when possible.
• • Include a rough mix reference so we hear your intent for balance and vibe.
• • Note the song tempo (BPM) and key in your upload notes or a simple text file.
• • Accepted formats: WAV, AIFF, FLAC, or MP3 (WAV 24-bit preferred).
• • Stem count must match your package (Standard: up to 24 · Full: up to 40). Maximum 3 GB total per song.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between stems and tracks?

For our purposes, they are the same thing: individual exported files — one kick, one snare, one lead vocal, and so on. We do not need your full DAW session; export each channel as its own file.

Can you mix songs recorded at home?

Yes. Many online clients record in home studios or project rooms. Clean, well-prepared files matter more than where they were captured. If your recordings need editing or repair beyond a standard mix, we will let you know before starting.

What sample rate and bit depth should I use?

Export at the same sample rate you recorded at (44.1 kHz or 48 kHz are both fine). 24-bit WAV is preferred. Do not upsample before sending — send files at their native rate.

Is vocal tuning included?

Basic mix-time touch-ups are part of a professional mix, but detailed manual tuning (Melodyne-style correction) is a paid add-on ($75). Mention it in your upload notes or email — Jason will send a separate payment link before tuning begins.

How are add-ons billed?

Add-ons are not part of the package checkout price. When you request an add-on, Jason confirms the cost and sends a separate Stripe payment link by email. That work starts only after add-on payment is received.

How do revisions work?

Your package includes 1 revision round. Send one consolidated list of changes after you hear the first mix. Additional revision rounds are $50 each.

When do I pay?

Your base package is paid upfront at checkout — that reserves your slot and unlocks upload instructions. Add-ons (vocal tuning, rush, mastering, etc.) are billed separately by email before that extra work begins.

What if I have more than 40 stems?

Contact Jason for a custom quote. Orchestral sessions, large productions, and live multitracks sometimes exceed our standard packages — we can usually accommodate them with adjusted pricing.

Do you offer mastering?

Yes. Add the mix + master bundle as an add-on ($75 above your package price). Jason sends a separate payment link after you approve the mix, or you can request it upfront in your upload notes.
