A strong mix is where your recording becomes a record. At Art City Sound, mixing is handled in a tuned control room with tools chosen for clarity, punch, and genre-appropriate tone — whether you tracked here or brought stems from another session.
What we mix
Full-band productions, singer-songwriter sessions, and anything in between. We work from multi-track sessions recorded at our Utah recording studio or mixes you need finished after tracking elsewhere.
Editing and mix prep are part of the process when your project needs it — tightening performances, balancing drums and vocals, and building a mix that supports the song instead of fighting it.
Tools & approach
Fender Studio Pro 8 is the hub, supported by world-class tools like FabFilter, Slate Digital, Native Instruments, and more. The goal is always the same: a mix that translates anywhere — in headphones, in the car, on your boombox, or where ever you want to listen.
Rock and singer-songwriter projects are a particular strength, but the room and workflow handle any genre that needs an experienced set of ears.
