I ask for feedback often in this step. Because this is a creative endeavour, I will be sending mixes as I go to include you in the process and to make sure the mix isn't going anywhere you don't want it to.

Hi! I'm Jason Jones, owner and operator of Art City Sound. As a producer of thousands of songs, I understand what a song should sound like and what it can do to help a musician get their message out to the world.
Honestly, if I knew how much work it would take to produce a song from the ground-up to a world-class sound, I probably never would have started, which would have been a mistake.

How long does it take to get a song recorded/produced?
I guarantee I will have the finished master of your song in your hands in 3 days.
What do I have to do to be ready to record my song?
If you know how to play your song from start to finish, you're ready.
Do I have to use a click/metronome on my song? Why?
For most alt-rock songs, recording to a click is a good idea. We will figure out if it's a good fit for your song when we chat.
Do you provide everything we need to get a fantastic recording?
Yes. All you need is your instruments and the ability to play them. I will do the rest.
I don't want to lug my drums to the studio. Do you have a kit I can use?
Yes. The studio has a fantastic sounding DW drum kit available all the time. Feel free to bring your snare/cymbals/whatever you want.
What is the one thing we can do to help our recording turn out amazing?
Practice, practice, practice. If you all know your parts well, your song will turn out fantastic.
Who owns the rights after we're done?
You. You own 100% of all the rights to your creation.
